How’s the conference going for you?
Without a doubt, this is the most frequently asked question at any staffing industry event. And this past week, I’m sure I was asked at least two dozen times.
So, how was the conference for me?
I learned how to spell “AI!”
Okay, that’s a bit sarcastic, but the amount of AI-focused content at this year’s executive forum was astonishing.
From high-level keynote presentations on the strategic value of AI to very tactical breakouts where I observed what I would consider “game-changing” AI in action, artificial intelligence was THE hot topic at the conference.
While AI may be a bit (okay, more than a bit) overhyped right now, there is no question that it will have a dramatic impact on the staffing industry. Actually, it already is!
My #1 takeaway on AI was that you need to get on board. Now! And not just using ChatGPT to write your emails but looking for ways (and experimenting) to integrate AI throughout your sales and recruiting processes.
