Giving Thanks – Inspiration from Haley Marketing Clients

Share this:

Just before Thanksgiving, we sent an email outlining a few of the many things we are thankful for, and we asked our readers to share their 2012 “Thanks” list.

Below is a sample of some of the thoughtful and touching responses we received, including the winner of a $100 Barnes and Noble gift card, Katie Roth at Portico Staffing.

Katie Roth, SPHR – Portico Staffing
I have the best staff I have ever had in my 26 years of being in this business.  This year I had a daughter with a serious health issue that took me out of the office quite a bit and my staff didn’t miss a beat.  I look forward to working with these talented people every day and for that (and my daughter’s remission) I am especially grateful this Thanksgiving.

Leanne Berry – President, Mom Corps NW Chicago

We are thankful for our successful placements that encompass the Mom Corps mission and values. One of our candidates, an experienced marketing professional was commuting 45 minutes both ways to her job. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but as a single Mom it was a significant challenge for her and her family. One of our clients had a Client Services Manager position available which was a full-time VIRTUAL role, which would allow her to work from home and ultimately save precious time having to commute. She impressed our client with her skill set and client service experience. The client made her an offer and she enthusiastically accepted. Our client was thrilled to have this “rock start” Mom Corps candidate on their team and our candidate is working for a great company, in a exciting role, and will have a better alignment within her career and family.

Lance Ewing – District Manager, LaborMAX Staffing
I am thankful I have the opportunity to increase the opportunity for each and every one of the folks who come to us seeking employment. Each time we put someone to work, they are immediately better off (self esteem, self worth, and financially), then in turn each of the people they come in contact with (parents, spouses, significant others, children, friends, clerks) are better off as well.

Our thanks goes out to all those that shared their responses with us!
