SMART IDEA #40: Secrets of Staffing Success podcast highlights

Brad Bialy | Director of Digital Marketing

IT’S A NEWSLETTER TAKEOVER!

Hey friends, it’s Brad Bialy…checking in and taking over the SMART IDEAS Weekly newsletter.

Last fall, I was cruising at 30,000 feet, somewhere between Buffalo and Jacksonville on my way to the NAPS annual conference, and I had an idea to launch a new podcast for the staffing industry that would bring conference-caliber speakers and their topics to a podcast and videocast every other week.

You see, as I was prepping for that talk, I learned about The Forgetting Curve…

The Forgetting Curve shows that just 1 hour after learning new material, 50% is lost.

After 1 day that number jumps to 75%.

1 week after learning new material nearly 90% of information is lost and forgotten.

Yikes!

I’m a FIRM believer in consistent development and am blessed to be trusted by Haley Marketing’s Co-CEOs David and Vicki to go out and represent Haley Marketing at conferences around the country, giving me the first-hand opportunity to learn from the industry’s best.

The problem? Just as quickly as we send ourselves and team members to these industry conferences, we forget the material.

So, I launched Take the Stage…a title that comes from the speaking circuit.

To Take the Stage is to not only walk onto the stage but to go out and TAKE IT. To command the stage.

Since we launched Take the Stage, I’ve been blown away by it’s reception.

Thousands of listeners have found value in the lessons shared by our guests.

Invaluable takeaways that are helping staffing firms across the country stand out, stay top-of-mind, and sell more.

If you’re new to the show, here are KEY takeaways from our Q2 Guests. I even included direct links so you can listen to it yourself.

And PLEASE subscribe to the show by searching for “Secrets of Staffing Success” on your preferred podcast player.

If you’re a fan of the show, I have a small request and I hope you take just 2 minutes to take me up on this.

Please hit reply and let me know what you think of the show.

What’s been your biggest takeaway? Favorite guest? What guest should I talk to in Q3 or Q4? Your feedback is so important to me, and I can’t wait to read what you have to say.

Oh, and one more thing…to Take the Stage is more than just a speaking term.

It can be applied to your everyday life. Don’t just go out there and live day-to-day; go out there and COMMAND YOUR STAGE.

Enjoy!
Brad
